The clothes, style and makeup that I like doesn't suit me. I love the gothic culture, but often I look at myself and think "This looks wrong on you, it doesn't suit you. You look like you're trying to be something you're not". What do I do? My personality and taste doesn't suit my physical aesthetics.
I think you should be who you want to be. If what you’re trying doesn’t suit you, try experimenting with similar styles and ideas until you find something you feel comfortable in.
I think it is incredibly important to feel good about the way you present yourself - you should dress up for yourself, not anybody else. Always remember that, have fun with it, and never let what a person thinks about your style get under your skin.
